What does water do to our bodies?
75% of our bodies are composed of water.
85% of our brain is water.
It is water that regulates the functions and activities of your body.

You need water-based fluids to travel nutrients and oxygen to your organs and cells.
You need water to clean your intestine and clear the waste from your body.
You need water to cool down by perspiring or sweating.
You need water to get your eyes, your noses, your throat and other parts of your body lubricated.
Can you survive without water?
The answer is NO.
Then, where do you get your supply of water?
We get our water supply from freshwater in the ground.
According to Water resources in Encyclopedia of Climate and Weather, of the world's total water supply of about 326 million mi3 of water, over 96% is saltwater in oceans, seas and bays, 3% is locked up in ice caps. Only 1% in freshwater on the ground.
Does freshwater really fresh?
Freshwater is water that contains less than 1,000 milligrams per liter (mg/L) of dissolved solids.
However, water with a TDS of 500 mg/L is only desirable for drinking according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA).
Therefore freshwater still needs treatment before it is safe for consumption.
